from 690 reviewsI haven’t started using this yet, as it’s for 2026, but first impressions are very positive.
The calendar feels sturdy and well made, and the concept is both novel and interesting.
Each day is represented as a removable note, and by the end of the year it reveals a beautiful tree - which gives it a lasting use beyond just being a calendar.
It’s such a clever idea that not only helps with daily planning but also encourages the habit of making notes each day.
A refreshing change from regular calendars that usually end up being thrown away once the year is over.
I plan to update this review with a picture once it’s in use, and again at the end of the year to show the finished result.
I got this as a curio for my desk. It's quite an interesting concept. Each day, you tear off a sheet, and as the year progresses, a little paper sculpture is revealed underneath. The paper quality is thick, and each sheet tears away cleanly along the perforation. The real magic happens when you turn on the light. The clear acrylic box it sits in lights up, illuminating the sculpture from within. It creates a really nice, soft glow on the desk, especially in the evening. It's certainly a conversation starter. It's a functional calendar, but the main appeal is watching the intricate paper castle slowly emerge over time. It feels like a small piece of art that I get to interact with daily.
I wasn't sure if this would be as good as the pictures, but it is!!
I had 1 last year and they are so cool just watching them change each day so I've bought 3 more for family members as everyone loves it
Bought this 2026 calendar as a christmas present. Am sure the recipient will love it!
Perfect gift for a HP fan!
Adorable ! Was a gift and she loved it
Got it for a coworker Christmas. She loves it!
These are so cool! This is the 7th one I've bought for gifts and everyone loves them. The colors are great and fun to do. And after your done you can keep them as a piece for conversation.
This is one of those harder to review items as it's designed to be used daily starting in a few months. So without actually just pulling all the pages off or using my time machine, which would be hard to justify for a small desk calendar, I'll just have to go with what I can see.
I think the most important thing is it looks like it's been cut precisely, which will be the key to the final look. Ironically at the end of 2026 I can post the finished look, but unless they put out a 2027 the photo won't be of much benefit.
Assuming the photos on the listing are accurate, it will end up looking really cool whichever direction you go. Trains have always been a popular thing in my family so I went with that one.
Packaging looks good, quality looks good, and everything fits well. The light likely won't be used for a long time, so might as well wait on pulling the tab to let the batteries get activated until later.
If the end product looks as pictured and you can write on your notepad like sticky notes plus a calendar, it makes it look like a pretty good value for the money.
Prompt shipping. Well boxed for gift giving. Clear plastic case to keep the calendar dust free throughout the year.
Came in on time & excited to give it as a gift!
This is a gift, I can't wait to see how much my son likes it.
I bought this for my son-in-law and he loved it. Anxious to watch the building progress everyday!
This calendar box was shrink wrapped and I truly debated whether to leave it as such or to take it off, open the package and do my regular critique. Well, I opened it and here you go folks.
~Aside from it being wrapped in plastic, this calendar is also encased in a sturdy and nicely done cardboard box. That tells me that the company wants the inside product to stay protected until it is opened up.
~There is also some heft to this product so it is not made of flimsy paper. The calendar is made out of good heavy cardstock.
~Looking at the picture I can see that the castle is very meticulously sculpted. And with what I can already see before any paper is removed, I like the sculpting.
~The calendar is protected by a hard plastic case that slides easily off. There is a hole in the top corner to hold a pen or two.
~If all of that is not enough, this calendar also lights up. That is one I have never seen before. But I am sure that who ever can resists temptation and finish off the calendar will truly enjoy the prize at the end and light it up.
~Having never seen a calendar like this I would not know if this is a good price or not. But knowing what some other calendars that I have had in the past go for, I am going to say that chances are this is on par.
~I would not hesitate to recommend this for yourself or as a gift for that special person.
I love the engineering of this calendar and I am looking forward to starting the process in January. The colors are beautiful and the paper seems of very good quality. The pages come off easily (no struggle) and I can't wait to see how the design takes shape over the course of a year. You need patience to see this pay off! Or you could just tear off all the pages and have a cool paper sculpture which can be stored dust free under the acrylic box! Cool idea!
Good quality products, trustworthy seller
